Malibu

HOLLYWOOD stars were last night preparing to flee for their lives as fire swept across California.
More than 1,400 homes were evacuated at the huge San Diego County Marine base and in nearby Oceanside.
nOver 2,000 firefighters are trying to contain the flames, helped by planes.
nIn Malibu – home to stars including Pierce Brosnan, – residents were warned they may have to evacuate their mansions.
Many houses have already been destroyed by the fire, which has been raging for three days.
