The director thinks Pascal Chaumeil perform adaptation of the novel by Nick Hornby: A Long Way Down. The story revolves around a group of strangers who meet by chance in the top of a skyscraper in London on New Year's Eve in which individuals had gone to commit suicide. The four strangers make a pact to stay alive until Valentine least, and the story follows this group of quirky friends.
The cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette, Paul Aaron, and Imogen Poots, with Sam Neill and Rosamund Pike. The movie is being filmed in England and Spain.
Ben Davis is the cinematographer of the film, as editor Barney Pilling. The production designer is Chris Oddy and Odile Dicks-Mireaux is costume designer. Nina Gold is the casting director. It will be released in theaters January 2013.
