Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette & Emile Hirsch Are A LONG WAY DOWN

27 Apr 2012 Adaptation of Nick Hornby’s novel in the works. Pierce Brosnan, Toni Collette and Emile Hirsch are set to star in ensemble drama ‘A Long Way Down.’ Based on the best-selling book by Nick Hornby (‘About A Boy,’ ‘High Fidelity’), the film is “the tale of four strangers on New Year's Eve who coincidentally plan to jump to their deaths from the same rooftop. Collette will play the helpless single mom of a disabled young man, while Brosnan is set for the part of a scandal-plagued talkshow host. Production is slated for later this year with Pascal Chaumeil (‘Heartbreaker’) directing from a screenplay penned by Jack Thorne (‘This is England 86,’ ‘The Fades’).
