Pierce Brosnan was not insensitive to the riots that shook Britain early in August. In an interview with OK magazine to be published early in October, the British actor returned to these events and wish to engage more English youth. Already involved on the side of Prince’s Trust, an association that promotes the insertion of young people in difficulty, the former Bond wants to make a difference. As the site of the association, according to him: “It is time to act for our future,” and keep to the idea that “the vast majority of young people were not involved in the riots and are proud of their community.”

Prince’s Trust is present in several cities across, and wants to double the number of youth in care. In true Ambassador convinced of the effectiveness of this association, Pierce Brosnan launches for a million and a half books: “we already have a million from donations, missing one and a half to reach our goal.”

In the same interview, Pierce Brosnan says he was “shocked and saddened” by these urban riots. He said he met with “of young people who have lost hope and confidence in them.” And to continue emphasizing the hope: “I was very lucky when leaving the school at the age of 16 years to have the profession of actor, a passion, that many young people do not have.”

Will in the meantime, be the actor in an adaptation of the book of the jungle alongside Omar Sharif. According to AFP, the filming will begin in January in Sri Lanka.
