Stephen King is returning to the small screen, and this time he's bringing James Bond with him. Pierce Brosnan stars in Bag of Bones, the author's latest novel-turned-TV movie. The first promo for the film has debuted, and it's filled with terrifying goodies—just in time for Halloween!

Bag of Bones centers on a widower named Mike Noonan who's overcome by grief following the death of his wife. After having a strange dream, he's inspired to visit their lakeside retreat in western Maine. Little does he know that the pain and sorrow he's trying to escape are about to get much worse.

Mike realizes that the small town isn't as innocent or peaceful as it seems. He's pulled into a custody case and murder mystery, which Brosnan describes as a "beast of a piece." A&E has released a behind-the-scenes look at Bag of Bones that reveals plenty of horrifying moments, including walking corpses.

The A-list project, adapted by screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, would have starred Javier Bardem and been directed by Ron Howard.
