DEARBORN, Mich. -- Hollywood movie-makers are back in the Detroit area this month.
Shooting has begun on the comedy thriller film "Salvation Boulevard" in Dearborn.
The Ford Community and Performing Arts Center is one of several Dearborn locations being used by the film crew.The center's Hubbard Ballroom, theater, gym and other spaces will be in use this week.The film is based on a novel about a private investigator searching for the killer of a college professor.Pierce Brosnan and Ed Harris head the cast.Film crews will be in the Dearborn area for about 28 days and plan to shoot additional scenes at locations including the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the Ritz Carlton Hotel and the popular Miller's Bar on Michigan Avenue.
