The University of Detroit Mercy may be featured in a new film, "Salvation Boulevard," starring Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris and Jim Gaffigan. University director of media relations Gary Lichtman said the film's producer, director and location manager visited the campus Tuesday morning.
Lichtman says the three said they were looking for a campus with buildings, rooms and offices with an Ivy League feel for exterior and interior shots. The university may find out if it will be included in the film in two weeks.
Based on the novel of the same name by Larry Beinhart, "Salvation Boulevard" is about a private investigator looking into the murder of a professor who then finds himself in a faith-based clash
